Process
From first inspection to final handover — how a floor gets done.
Russell walks through your space, tells you what the floor needs, and gives you a quote. Free, in person, no obligation.
Day 1: full machine sand back to bare timber, with dust extraction keeping the mess off your furniture.
Day 2: gaps and nail holes filled with colour-matched filler, then the first coat of Bona finish goes down. Staining, if chosen, happens here.
Day 3: final coats of Bona finish. A typical 3-bedroom home takes 2–3 days all up.
Floors are walkable after 24 hours; full cure takes 7 days. Russell hands over with straight advice on looking after the finish — see the floor care guide.
